Open Outside Chair and connect your email.

Requires an eligible workspace with plugin upload access. Ask your workspace owner if Upload plugin is unavailable.

Assign Outside Chair, then open it in Copilot.

Available only in a tenant that permits this private app. Installation in a second tenant has not yet been verified.

After installation

Connect with a one-time email code.

Your AI opens the Outside Chair sign-in window the first time it needs access. Before continuing, accept the Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. Newsletter signup is optional and separate.

Enter your emailNo Outside Chair password is required.
Enter the codeWe send a short verification code to that address.
Ask your first question“What needs my attention?” is a good place to start.

Technical connection and troubleshooting

If your AI supports a direct MCP connection, use https://app.outsidechair.com/mcp.

ChatGPT ZIP upload depends on workspace upload permission. Microsoft installation depends on your organization's custom-app policy. Claude plugin upload requires a paid Claude plan.
